                                            ACTS 13
              FIVEFOLD MINISTRY APOSTOLIC CONVENE
                    MOOSLEERAU, SWITZERLAND 2010

Six men of God gathered together with Apostle/Evangelist/Teacher Dr. Rudolf Ryser in another annual convene organized by Dr. Ryser. Apostle Dr. Ryser had the vision to do this in 1998 and the first Convene was in 2000.
The purpose was to teach, be taught, encourage one another and pray for one another as we grow to the next level in the Kingdom of God. Our main Scripture theme for the week was Acts 13:1-3,
“In the church at Antioch there were prophets and teachers: Barnabas, Simeon called Niger, Lucius of Cyrene, Manaen (who had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch) and Saul. 2 While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, ‘Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.’   3 So after they had fasted and prayed, they placed their hands on them and sent them off” (NIV).
The ministers met daily on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The afternoon sessions concluded with the men praying God’s blessings for one another. As men with the gift of prophecy felt moved, prophetic words were spoken to edify and confirm the lives and ministries of the ministers.

The men present for this convene, in addition to Apostle Rudolf Ryser, were Apostle Robert Cann of Ghana and America, Apostle Alan Pateman of England and Germany, Pastor Rowland Mogaecho of South Africa, Apostle Neville Scharneck of South Africa, Pastor Andreas Ryser of Switzerland and Pastor Dennis Hollowell of America.

On Monday, March 8, 2010 Dr. Ryser taught in the morning session on the Fivefold Ministry. He taught on the Kingdom of God and what it means to respect and honor one another. When Christians come together it should be to advance the Kingdom of God. The book of Acts does not have an “Amen” on it. We are still in the book of Acts. Discipleship is number one. A father disciples his children (Romans 1:1-17; 2 Timothy 1:2). We need to meditate daily on the Gifts of the Spirit and thank God for using us in the Gifts. In 2 Corinthians 13:14 Paul prays for us to be in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. We should be daily.

The March 8 afternoon session centered on intercession. Ephesians 3:14-21 was the key scripture passage. We were encouraged to pray this prayer for our congregations as well as personalize it for ourselves. Also, Paul’s prayer in Ephesians 1:17-23 can be included.
On Tuesday, March 8 Apostle Ryser continued on the subject of the Kingdom of God. More specifically he taught on Crowns. Thirty crowns are mentioned in the Bible. In the afternoon the teaching was on Honor. It becomes a lifestyle to live in honor.

On Wednesday morning, March 9, the teaching was on the ministry office of Apostle. In the afternoon, Dr. Ruth Ryser, wife of Apostle Rudolf Ryser, gave a teaching about marriage relationships titled, “Women Want to Be Understood”.
On Thursday morning, March 11, Apostle Ryser taught on the subject of “Kings and Priests”. In the afternoon the teaching was on the subject of “Wisdom”.
The teaching on Friday, March 12, 2010 was on “Kingdom Character”. We must have Kingdom character.

During the time of the Convene the minister’s were all on a “Daniel fast”. We only ate fruit, nuts and juice. Two of the ministers chose a fast of only juice and water. On Friday evening the fast was broken with a delicious soup and salad meal.

During the week there were church services at Gemeinde in Jesus Christus (Congregation in Jesus Christ). Apostle Rudolf Ryser is the founder of this church. It is now pastored by his son Andreas as Rudolf is devoting full time to the ministries of Apostle, Evangelist, Teacher and mentoring. Additional services were planned during the week and ministers participating in the Convene took turns preaching during the week at the church’s two locations in Moosleerau and Schönenwerd.
